Selfmade is how I rebuilt my life on my own terms.

I’m a husband of 15 years and a father of seven. My life has been shaped by responsibility, not convenience.

Our family has faced experiences that change you. We’ve endured the loss of a child. One of our children was born extremely premature and required intensive medical care. My wife also faced serious complications during childbirth that put both her life and our child’s at risk.

Moments like these redefine what matters and how you show up.

I’ve spent my adult life without a close relationship with family I didn’t create myself. There was no clear model to follow—no guidance for how to be a man, a husband, or a father. Everything I’ve learned has been earned through my own effort, not inheritance, status, or outside help.

There were seasons where we lost financial stability. Medical costs forced difficult decisions—draining savings, selling our home, and letting go of anything that allowed us to move forward.

What remained was responsibility.

No one was coming to solve it. No one was going to step in. That reality changes how you operate.

Selfmade comes from that place—not theory, but lived experience. It is built through discipline, ownership, and the decisions you make when there are no easy options.

It is not defined by where you start, but by how you choose to live.

And it is lived daily.
